Wilma Lundy Furlong

Wilma Lundy Furlong 83 of Allenport, passed away on Monday December 14, 2020 at her home. Born in Charleroi on July 17, 1937, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Jewel Slaughter Lundy.

Wilma was a graduate of Charleroi High School Class of 1955. She was a member of the Allenport Civic Club and the Charleroi Elks. Wilma was retired from the University of Pittsburgh where she had worked as a Data Coordinator for Medical Research Study for Alzheimer's and was also an EMT/Paramedic for Five Town Ambulance.

She is survived by her husband Elverson (Huck) Furlong of Allenport, 2 sons Danny Furlong and partner Alfred of Eureka, CA, Scott and wife Jennifer of Elizabeth,  a daughter Cynthia Furlong and partner Sharon of Mapleview and a sister Sandra Lundy Lambert of San Diego, CA.

She was preceded in death by her brother William Lundy Jr. of Fontana, CA.

There will be no public visitation. At a later date a Celebration of Life for Wilma’s wonderful life will be held at the Allenport Community Park where everyone will be invited.
