William O. Pocky 80 formerly of Charleroi died Friday October 25, 2019 at Southwestern Veterans Center Pittsburgh. Born in Charleroi on September 20, 1939, a son of William and Alice Frocheur Pocky.

William was a U.S. Army veteran. He was retired from Monongahela Valley Hospital where he worked in housekeeping. William enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates, listening to music and APBA baseball cards.

 William is survived by 2 sons Bob (Lori) Pocky of New Stanton and Bill (Maggie) Pocky of Ohio, 2 daughters Tina (Chris) DeMatty of N. Huntingdon and Anita (James) Rodgers of Edmonton, Canada, 6 grandchildren; Thomas (T.J.) Pocky, Samantha DeMatty, Melanie Holbrook, Chelsea Cole, Kyocera DeMatty and Gotham Rodgers and a sister Norma Jean Milligan of Oklahoma.  He was preceded in death by his wife Lennie J. Pocky in 2004, and a son Tommy Pocky.

A Gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday November 8, 2019 from 6pm - 8pm at Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 825 Fallowfield Ave. Charleroi. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial be made to the Southwest Veterans Center 7060 Highland Dr., Pittsburgh, Pa
