Trudy L. Schoch

Trudy L. Schoch, 74, of Roscoe, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 20, 2010. She was born July 21, 1936, the daughter of the late Lena Nugent Adams and Bob Holman. Employed for many years by Charland Sportswear in Speers, Trudy was an accomplished quilter and seamstress. She was also a member of the Roscoe American Legion Post 801 Auxiliary. A lover of animals, hers dogs Lady and Sarah were her angels. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Alan C. Schoch; two children, Jeffrey Schoch, and wife Lezlie, of Wilmington, Delaware, and Yvonne Stack, of Laughlintown, PA; three grandchildren, Whitney, Alison, and Matthew Schoch, all of Wilmington, Delaware. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Holman. Friends will be received on Wednesday, Dec. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 1008 Furlong Avenue, Roscoe, where a funeral service will be held Thursday, Dec. 23, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Action for Animals Humane Society, P.O. Box 814, Latrobe, PA 15650.
