Shirley A. Pullion

Shirley A. Pullion 88 of Fallowfield Twp. died Saturday November 3, 2018 at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born in Charleroi on October 31, 1930, a daughter of Francis and Betty Newman Lewis. Shirley was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi and Card Club. She was a great mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. Shirley loved to cook and volunteered faithfully at Golden Living in Strabane Twp. She loved to play cards and crossword puzzles. Surviving are 3 sons and daughters-in-law; Joseph T. (Catherine) Pullion of Edgewater Park, NJ, Shawn F. (Karen) Pullion of Greensburg and Drew L. (Suzanne) Pullion of Greensburg, a daughter Beth A. Pullion with whom she made her home, 6 grandchildren; Drew, Justin, Kelsey, Collette, Chelsea and Christopher, and 3 great-grandchildren Gabriella, Michael and Audrey. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph (Tom) Pullion in 2000, and 2 brothers; Paul Lewis and Francis (Nookie) Lewis. Visitation will be held on Monday November 12, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday November 13 at 10:00 am at Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Twp..
