Ruth Matz

Ruth Matz 67 of Coal Center, passed away on Monday July 4, 2022 at UPMC Presby Pittsburgh. Born in North Charleroi on October 20, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Dorothy Downer Sezawich.

Ruth was Pentecostal by faith. She was the main cook of the family, always feeding her loved ones.

Ruth is survived by her 3 children; Michelle (John) Tomalski, Nicholas Matz III and his girlfriend Angela Rabatin and Mary (Billie Jo) Matz, 3 grandchildren; Collin, Noah and Seth, 2 sisters; Madeline Rice and Christine Dankle and 2 brothers; Matthew Sezawich and William (Patty) Sezawich.

Visitation will be held on Thursday July 7^th at the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-7:30pm at which time funeral services will begin with Rev. Candace Cook presiding.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a memorial donation in her name to St. Jude’s Hospital.
