Roger L. Wall

Roger L. Wall, 60, of Roscoe, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 11, 2013, in UPMC Presbyterian. A son of the late John and Lola Coughenour Wall, he was born March 15, 1952, in Bunola. He worked for many years as a pipefitter for Sabo Machine Works in West Newton and then as a coordinator for Eastern Industrials in West Elizabeth. Roger enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Butler's Golf League. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sherryl L. Steele Wall; son, Michael Onisko of Roscoe; daughter, Brandie Wall Miller and husband, Christopher, of Pelzer, S.C.; son, Brandon L. Wall of Charleroi; daughter, Aimee McCloy of Roscoe; grandchildren, Jesse Chisholm and Becca Miller; sisters, Francis Venen of Washington, Pa., and Wanda Williams and husband, Joe, of West Elizabeth; niece, Debbie Fine and husband, Dan; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William Todd and Ronald Wall. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, in the Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services INC., 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, with Pastor Richard E. Bowser presiding. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
