Robert Paholsky

Robert Paholsky 73 of California, died Wednesday January 17, 2018 at his home. Born in N. Charleroi on June 29, 1944, a son of Stanley and Mary Kostelak Paholsky. Mr. Paholsky was Catholic by faith. He was a Vietnam War veteran having served as an Airman with the United States Air Force. He also was a graduate of the USAF Medical Unit Training Course in 1965. Robert was retired from the former Corning Glass, Charleroi. A member of the American Legion Post #801 Roscoe, Roscoe Slovak Club and Corning Retirees. He was also an avid Pirate's fan.

Robert is survived by a son Robert C. Paholsky, a daughter and son-in-law Christa (Brett) Patterson of Monongahela and his fury life companion, Dawg. Preceded in death by his wife Sharon Brosick Paholsky and a brother Dennis Paholsky.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 24, 2018 from 5-8pm at the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe. Military honor services will be held at 7pm in the Funeral Home by the Roscoe American Legion 801. A blessing service will be held at 8pm with Rev. James Bump. Interment will be private and take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
