Richard P. Miller

Richard P. Miller, 60, of Roscoe, formerly of Carroll Township, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2008. He was born May 3, 1947, in North Charleroi, a son of the late William and Mary Louise Leach Miller. He was Catholic by faith. Mr. Miller was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the East Monongahela Sportsman Club. Richard was employed by the World Kitchen (formerly Corning Glass) for 33 years as a supervisor. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Diess Miller, of Roscoe; and the beloved dad of Tom Wood, of Elco. He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law, Mrs. Richard (Jan) Deems, of Monessen; four brothers-in-law, Dan Diess, of Belle Vernon, Ron (Dolly) Diess, of Texas, Larry (Martha) Diess, of Carroll Township, and William Diess, of Dunlevy; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the ED MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES INC., Roscoe, on Saturday, March 29, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 8:15 p.m. with Fr. George Moneck officiating. Interment will be private.
