In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Timothy J. Skirpan, on June 7, 2011. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the MELENYZER-DuBARR FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 825 Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi, where a funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. with Rev. My heart goes out to all of you. I became friends with Pauline in school and was sorry to hear when she became ill and am even more saddened by the news of her death. She is in a much better place and out of so much pain. Time may not heal the hurt you feel, but eventually your good memories will. Hold onto that during the dark days. With love and friendship Liz
