Paul Briar Podanie

Paul "Briar" Podanie 83 of Allenport, died unexpectedly Saturday July 25, 2015 at his home. Born August 18, 1931, a son of John and Margaret Bury Podanie. Mr. Podanie was a member of St. Joseph's RC Church, Roscoe. Retired from Wheeling Pitt Steel, Allenport. A US Army veteran having served in the Korean War. Mr. Podanie was a lifelong member of the Roscoe American Legion, and the Roscoe Slovak Club. Residing with Mr. Podanie their whole life are 2 nephews, Carl and Paul Podanie who survive. Mr. Podanie will be sadly missed by family and friends. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation.
