Paul "Skip" Petruschak

Paul "Skip" Petruschak 84 of Roscoe passed away on Sunday February 18, 2024 at The Residence at Hilltop. Born and raised in Stockdale on April 8, 1939, he was the son of Paul and Mary Kashok Petruschak Sr.. 

Paul was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport. He was a Vietman War veteran having served in the U.S. Army First 27th Infantry 25th Division Hawaii. For many years he managed local baseball teams and was a past president of the Sokol Club. 

He is survived by a son Robert Evans of California, PA, 3 daughters; Tammy (Tom) Vadella of Roscoe, Paula (Jaison) Coles of Roscoe and Sandy (Darrell) Klanchar of Rosoce, 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Judith Scrip Petruschak in 2019, a daughter Lisa Evans, son John Petruschak and granddaughter Mandy Klanchar. 

Visitation will be held Thursday February 22 from 3-5pm at Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc.1008 Furlong Ave.,Roscoe where funeral services will begin at 11:00 am on Friday February 23 with Rev. Stephen Wahal officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery Coal Center.
