Patrick "Heavy Duty" "Ricky" Hewitt

Patrick M. "Heavy Duty" "Ricky" Hewitt, 59, of Fallowfield Twp. passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, August 2, 2012. Born in Charleroi on July 23, 1953, he was a son of the late Henry and Joyce McGinty Hewitt. Ricky was an avid motorcyclist who always enjoyed riding his Harley whenever and wherever he could. He is survived by his daughters, Amy Christine and husband, Craig, of Carlisle, Emily Hewitt and fiancAC., Eric Kocher, of Sewickley, and Heather Hewitt, of Brownsville; grandchildren, McKenna Hewitt, Claire Christine and Doug Kocher; sisters, Natalie Hull and Sherry Hewitt; a brother, William Hewitt; the mother of his children, Luann Hewitt; nieces, Tiffanie Taylor, Lindsey Muir, and Mehgan and Devon Hull; a nephew, Dustin Taylor; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a niece, Melissa Hull; and a nephew, Bryan Hull. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 1008 Furlong Avenue, Roscoe. A memorial service for Ricky will be held on Sunday, August 5, at 3 p.m. in the Fallowfield Township Volunteer Fire Co. Social Hall.
