Mary Edythe Tukesbrey

Mary Edythe Tukesbrey 86 of Stockdale, died Friday November 3, 2017 at her home. Born September 16, 1931 in Wheeling, WVa, a daughter of Kennard and Edythe Fling Gillespie. Mary was a member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxillary of the Roscoe American Legion Post #801. On January 3, 1950 she married Clarence Donald Tukesbrey who died in 1986.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law John Ryan and Lejie Song Tukesbrey of Fairview, WVa, 2 granddaughters Christie Kilbribe and Michelle Russell and 4 great-grandchildren, Hannah, Evan, Meghan and Rylie. Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by a sister Nancy Burkhart.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday November 8, 2017 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Candace Cook presiding. Interment will be private at Howe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the funeral home towards funeral expenses.
