Mary Trussa

Mary Trussa 89 of Charleroi, died on Sunday January 3, 2021 at Cambridge Hillside, N. Charleroi. Born October 8, 1931 in Roscoe, a daughter of Emmett and Sarah Werton Mankin.

She was Presbyterian by faith. Mary had worked as a bartender for many years at the Roscoe Slovak club. She was a member of the Roscoe American Legion Post #801 Ladies’ Auxiliary and the Allenport Rod & Gun club. Mary was a wonderful cook and baker and was an avid animal lover.

She is survived by her son Lance (Sherry) Trussa of Charleroi, 2 daughters; Lynn (Curt) Robb of Bristow, VA, and LuAnn Cope of Stockdale, 7 grandchildren; Cari, Ricky, Kristen, Jeremy, Elliott, Adam and Brandon and 4 great-grandchildren; Zachary, Hannah, Rachael and Estella.

Preceded in death by her husband Paul Trussa in 1982, a son Larry Trussa, infant son Mark, a grandson Ryan Cope, 2 brothers; Emmett and Werton Mankin and 2 sisters; Carrie Masten and Martha Jean Miller. Lastly she was preceded by her furry four legged kids; Myrt and Tazzy.

Visitation will be held on Thursday January 7, 2021 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, where funeral services will be held on Friday January 8th at 10:00am with Pastor Brian Carroll. Interment will follow at Monongahela Cemetery.
