Mary Alice Segzda

Mary Alice Segzda 82 of Elco, died Thursday June 19, 2014 at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born August 30, 1931 a daughter of Ernest and Eva Thompson Core. Mrs. Segzda was a member of Roscoe United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband Anthony A. Segzda of Elco, a son Anthony E. Segzda and his companion Janice Zielensky of Elco, a daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Ray Hartman of Stockdale, 2 brothers, E. Lane Core and wife Donna of Roscoe and Norman R. Core and wife Jane of New Eagle, a sister Linda Barli and husband Roy of Dunlevy, and 2 grandchildren Tom Kalvesmaki of TX, and Alexis Kalvesmaki and fiance` Ryan Vercoe of Stockdale. Preceded in death by an infant brother Allan Core. Visitation will be held on Saturday June 21, 2014 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave.,Roscoe. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Sunday June 22, 2014 at 2pm with Rev. Brian Carroll officiating. Internment will follow at Howe Cemetery.
