Mary Moxine Roy

Mary Moxine Roy 86 of Elco died Friday April 13, 2018 at Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born January 2, 1932 in Fredricktown, a daughter of Elias and Evelyn Zanolli Morgan. Moxine was the Post Master for Elco and retired after 31 years of service. She was a member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church, the Ladies Auxillary of the Roscoe American Legion Post #801, Past Matron of Amaranth, a member of the Eastern Star and her card club.

On November 21, 1952 she married James Roy who survives and would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this year. Besides her husband she is also survived by a son David Roy of Stroll Acres, 2 daughters Valerie (Paul) Morris of Carroll Twp.,Linda Legarsky of Stroll Acres, a grandson James JR Legarsky, nephew Larry Morgan and several other nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her son-in-law George Tim Legarsky and 2 sisters Jean Salay and Mona Morgan.

Visitation will be held on Sunday April 15, 2018 from 6-8pm and Monday April 16 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday April 17, 2018 at 11:00am with Rev. Rick Bowser presiding. Interment will follow at Howe Cemetery.
