Mary M. Roberts

Mary M. Roberts, 94, of Elco, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2011, in Cherry Tree Nursing Center, Uniontown. Born in Monessen on December 1, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Sophia Chori Zenich. She was a member of the Centerville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Mrs. Roberts is survived by two sons, Earl T. Roberts, of Elco and Herman Kosarski, of California; a sister, Helen Valent, of Charleroi; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Earl, who passed away Dec. 30, 1998; a daughter, Maryanne Kosarski; two brothers, Frank and Bill Zenich; and two sisters, Anne Hutchins and Elizabeth Stavinski. Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 24, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 25, at 11 a.m. with Robert Wright of the Centerville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses presiding. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
