Mary Lou Eyster

Mary Lou Eyster, 86, of Roscoe, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, in Justine's Personal Care Home in Allenport. Born in Roscoe on July 18, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Howard J. Eyster and Grace S. Snowdon. She was a member of the Roscoe Presbyterian Church where, for many years, she worked as their treasurer. Survivors include a sister, Elizabeth Ann Eyster Lytle; niece, Margaret Ann Lytle Testerman; great-niece, Stacey Testerman Viereck and children, Olivia and Patrick; and cousin, Glenn H. Schach Jr. and wife, Mary Anne, and their family. Arrangements are being handled by the MELENYZER-DuBARR FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1008 Furlong Avenue, Roscoe. A Memorial Service at Roscoe Presbyterian Church and interment in Howe Cemetery, Coal Center, will be announced at a later date. The family requests memorial contributions in Mary Lou's honor be made to either the Roscoe Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 716, Roscoe, PA 15477 or Justine's Personal Care Home, Allenport, PA 15412.
