Margaret Peg Pivovarnik

Margaret "Peg" Pivovarnik 85 of Charleroi died Wednesday July 20, 2016 at Thorpe's Personal Care, Charleroi. Born in Belle Vernon on August 23, 1930 a daughter of William and Freida Kuhn Lutes. Peg was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish Charleroi. She is survived by 2 sons, Richard and Liz Pivovarnik of Carlisle and Paul Pivovarnik of Charleroi with whom she made her home, a granddaughter Emily Pivovarnik and Leo Oliver of Mechanicsburg and 2 great granddaughters, Mary Jane and Leauna Oliver, and serveral nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Richard Pivovarnik in 1997 and her sister Ruth Lutes Yartin in 2016. Visitation will be held on Friday July 22 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday July 23 at 10:00am at Mary, Mother of the Church Charleroi with Rev. Gerald Mikonis as celebrant. Interment will follow at Monongahela Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Leonard M. Pavlic Funeral Homes, Inc. Charleroi.
