Lena Flaherty

Lena Flaherty 52 of Elco died Monday April 18, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. Born in N. Charleroi on May 3, 1963 a daughter of the late Norbert and Bessie Stark Flaherty. Lena worked as a personal care attendant. Surviving are 3 sons, Ian and twins Travis and Trevor Flaherty all of Elco, 2 daughters Erin Weight McAddo of Imperial and Sara Voytovich of Elco, 2 sisters Debora Stein of Allenport and Penny Kent of Roscoe, 2 brothers Fred Mische of Fallowfield Twp.,and Walter Mische of Elco, and 6 grandchildren, Nicholas Matthews, Michael Flaherty, Madison McAdoo, Victoria Flaherty, Macie McAdoo and Mylena Brown. Preceded in death by 2 sisters Lorna Morgan and Tina Flaherty. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday April 27, 2016 at 6:00pm with Pastor Sandi Conti presiding. The family requests that all memorials be made to the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. towards Lena's funeral expenses.
