Leatrice R. Legarsky, 79, of Roscoe, went to be with her Lord on Monday, August 24, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 29, 1930, in Bentleyville,a daughter of the late Edward and Freda Dixon Weaver. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt and a member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church, the Roscoe American Legion Post 801 Auxiliary, and enjoyed bowling, playing cards and bingo. Survivors include her husband of 59 years; George Legarsky of Roscoe, one son; G. Timothy Legarsky (Linda M.) of Elco, three grandsons; Timothy M. Legarsky of Long Branch, Aaron M. Legarsky (Jamie) of Brownsville, James (J.R.) Legarsky of Elco, one great granddaughter; Hannah J. Legarsky, a sister Gloria Hartley (William), special nieces and nephew; Rene Zdavecky (Ralph), Edward Hartley Kathy), Leighann Campbell (Cory) all of Roscoe, two great nieces and two great nephews, numerous other nieces and nephews and two very dear friends; Mary Louis Schoch and Virginia Stringer. Friends will be received Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Inc., Roscoe, where a funeral service will be held Friday, August 28, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ernest DeLuca officiating. Interment will be in Howe Cemetery, Coal Center.
