Junita V. Stanko

Private funeral services were held this morning, Saturday, Feb. 5, for Junita V. Stanko, 89, of Elco who passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, in Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late James and Ruth (Patton) Kendall, she was born Jan. 30, 1922. Junita was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Roscoe. She is survived by a daughter, Dolores Johnson of Elco; two sons, Thomas Telegraphes, of Charleroi, and James Telegraphes, and wife, Ida, of Bentleyville; 9 grandchildren, Ardell Donaldson, and wife, Barb, Ray Donaldson, Bruce Johnson, David Telegraphes, Billy Telegraphes, Bob Telegraphes, Jim Telegraphes, and wife, Amy, Sherri Telegraphes, and Vicky Telegraphes; and many great and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Barbara Telegraphes and a granddaughter, Becky Telegraphes. Elder Lawrence King presided over the service. Interment was in Howe Cemetery, Coal Center.
