John J. Bodnar 78 of Roscoe passed away on Saturday June 3, 2023 at UPMC Presbyterian. Born in Brownsville on August 17, 1944 a son of the late John and Merle Sager Bodnar.
John was retired from Pittsburgh-Wheeling Steel Allenport.
He is survived by his wife Rona, one son Joel (Natalie) Bodnar of Rostraver, 2 daughter; Dana Giovenelli of Fredricktown and Liberty Mosher of Roscoe, 2 sisters; Rhoda (Ed) Hruska of Bridgeton, NJ and Helen (Richard) Davis of Winslow, NJ, 11 grandchildren; Brittney, Hannah, Mercedes, Nick, Christian, Julia, Elton, Sean, Anden, Landry and Everett and 5 great-grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his son John J. Bodnar.
There will be no public visitation.
