Jean Bloom

Jean Lynn Guiler Bloom, 61, of Roscoe, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at her home. Born Aug. 13, 1953, in Charleroi, she was a daughter of Charles R. and Henrietta Brirley Guiler, a member of Roscoe Presbyterian Church and was an employee of Spee-D Mart. Mrs. Bloom was an avid bowler and belonged to several leagues over the years. Surviving are her husband, Theodore F. Bloom Jr.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Cindy Guiler and Jack and Pat Guiler; a sister and brother-in-law, Dawna and Terry Rapsack; nieces, Robin Quigley and Michelle Bogo (Michael); nephews, Scott Guiler (Megan), Jack Guiler (Juana), Jason Rapsack (Morgan), Jessie Rapsack (girlfriend, Kerri Lewis) and Kevin Rapsack; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dennis and Veronica Bloom; niece, Amy Guty (Greg); and several great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, in the MELENYZER-DuBARR FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATION SERVICES INC., 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, where a funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Candace Cook officiating. Interment will be held at the family's convenience.
