James L. Moon

James L. Moon 55 of Wintersville, Ohio passed on Tuesday December 6, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital Pittsburgh. Born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on October 7, 1967, a son of the late Beverly McFall Moon and Larry Moon who survives.

James served in the Gulf War as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. and was stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C. for 10 years. He worked for Mckissick Trucking as a driver. James was an avid Hot Wheels collector for many years.

Besides his father, he is also survived by his wife Susan Kirkpatrick Moon, 3 children; Brenden Moon, Trevor Moon and Carissa Moon, 3 stepchildren; Joseph Cowser, Justin Cowser and Jayson Cowser, 10 grandchildren and his sister and brother-in-law Kelly and Paul Sadler. Besides his mother, he is also preceded in death by his grandparents; James A. and Helen Gregory Moon from Wichita Falls, TX and Lloyd and Betty Chitwood McFall from Fort Smith, AR.
