Helen Deutchki

Helen Deutchki, 87, of Bronx, NY, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014. Born June 20, 1926, in Roscoe, she was a daughter of the late Chris and Suzanne (Haluska) Kostoff. She is survived by a daughter, Patty Mulligan and husband, Michael, of Patterson, NY; grandsons, Sean and David Mulligan; and a sister, Wilma Hajdu and husband, Alexander. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Deutchki; son, David Deutchki; and brothers, Joseph and John Kostoff. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, in the MELENYZER-DuBARR FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1008 Furlong Avenue, Roscoe, where translation prayers will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Mike Zavage presiding. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center.
