Grace Jeffries

Grace Jeffries 89 of Roscoe, passed away on Monday May 27, 2019 at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born in Elco on July 25, 1929, a daughter of Samuel and Grace Smith Kent. Grace was a member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church, a lifetime member of the Pittsburgh Chapter Eastern Star and The Order of the Amaranth and was a 50 yr member of her canasta club. Grace was employed for a number of years at the former Santoni's Restaurant in Charleroi.

She is survived by her son John Jeffries and his significant other Judi Cluett of Belle Vernon and a daughter Karen Jeffries Taylor of Roscoe. Grace is preceded in death by her husband John Jeffries on April 18, 1987, 2 brothers Bill and Bud Kent and 2 sisters; Helyn Duleck and Garnet Parkins.

Per Grace's wishes there will be no public visitation. Family and friends are asked to gather at Howe Cemetery, Long Branch at 11:00am on Thursday May 30, 2019 for a committal service at the chapel with Rev. Rick Bowser presiding
