Georgette "Tootsie" Baker 62 of Coal Center passed on Wednesday April 10, 2024 at Allegheny General Pittsburgh. Born in N. Charleroi on December 16, 1961, a daughter of the late George and Marybelle Porter Grimes Sr..
Tootsie was a member of the Roscoe Sportsman Club, Roscoe American Legion Riders, the Legion's Ladies Auxiliary and the Allenport Rod & Gun Club.
Surviving is her husband Mike Baker, 2 sons; Mikey (Amy Jo) Baker of West Newton and Justin Baker of Coal Center, 4 grandchildren; Jesse, Nicholas, Sophia and Carson, 2 sisters; Tammy (Jeff) Milosevich of Charleroi and Holly (Dave) Rausch of Smithton and 2 brothers; Scott (Terri) Grimes of Charleroi and George (Jen) Grimes Jr. of Granville and her sister-in-law Lori Grimes of Brownsville.
Tootsie was preceded in death by a brother Gary Grimes Sr.
Visitation will be held on Friday April 12, 2024 from 1-4pm and 6-8pm at Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe where funeral services will be held on Saturday April 13 at 10am with Rev. Cliff Hockensmith presiding. Interment will follow at Maple Creek Cemetery Fallowfield Twp.
