George A. Roberts Sr

George A. Roberts 75 of West Brownsville, died Wednesday July 3, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born November 18, 1938 in Coal Center, a son of William Harrison Roberts and Pearl Smith Roberts. Mr. Roberts was retired from Plymouth Rubber in Canton, Mass. He is survived by his wife Thelma Jones Roberts, a son and daughter-in-law George and Naomi Roberts Jr. of Coal Center, a daughter and son-in-law Esther and Robert Perry of West Brownsville, a sister and brother-in-law Edna and Dennis Tillson of Coal Center, 5 grandchildren Bonita, Michael, Jody, Kimberly and Martika, 11 great-grannchidren, 5 great great-granchildren, and a foster granddaughter Tiffany. Preceded in death by a son Arison Roberts, 3 brothers Jimmy, Huck and John Roberts, and 2 sisters Thelma Andler and Ella Mae Roberts. Visitation will be held on Monday July 7, 2014 from 2-4pm at the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremations Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, where funeral services and blessing will be held at 4pm Monday. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
