George Tim Legarsky

George Tim Legarsky 63 of Roscoe, died Wednesday March 8, 2017 at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born on January 18, 1954 in N. Charleroi a son of the late George and Leatrice Weaver Legarsky.  Tim was retired from the United States Postal Service having been a mail carrier in Uniontown and Connellsville. He is a member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church, Sons of the American Legion Post #801 Roscoe, Masonic Lodge #164 Washington, Shriners Caravan #9 Uniontown, Hungarian Club Daisytown, Connellsville Moose #16 and the Slovak Club Roscoe. Tim loved to sing with his smooth silky voice. He was an avid golfer and reader and loved to play cards. Surviving are his wife Linda Roy Legarsky of Roscoe, 3 sons, Timothy M. Legarsky of Long Branch, Aaron Legarsky of Derry and James "JR" Legarsky of Roscoe, 2 granchildren, Hannah and River Legarsky, his Godchild Ashley Clouse whom he dearly loved, aunts and uncles, Gloria and Bill Hartley of Stroal Acres, Edward Legarsky of Michigan, and Shirley Legarsky of Apollo, PA, also numerous cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday March 11, 2017 from 6-8pm and Sunday March 12 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe. Funeral Services will be held on Monday March 13 at 11:00am at the Roscoe United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Bowser officiating. Interment will follow in Howe Cemetery.
