George Chilzer

George Chilzer 75 of Allenport passed away on Monday March 2, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. George was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on February 10, 1951, a son of John W. and Elizabeth Bremer Chilzer Jr..
He was Catholic by faith and a member of the former St. Joseph Catholic Church in Roscoe.
George is survived by his wife Edith Wolfe Chilzer, a daughter and son-in-law Melissa (Eric) Shannon, 2 sons; George Chilzer Jr. and Anthony Chilzer, 2 grandchildren; Conner and Hailey Shannon, and 3 brothers; John, Timothy and Dave Chilzer.
He was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Gerry, Joseph and Tom Chilzer and 2 sisters; Maryanne Sloan and Susan Chilzer.
There will be no public visitation.
