Ethel M. Yates, 83, formerly of Roscoe, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2010, in Mon Valley Hospital. The family will receive friends at Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 1008 Furlong Avenue, Roscoe, on Sunday, July 25, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the National Stroke Association, 9707 E. Easter Lane, Centennial, CO 80112, or at www.stroke.org. A complete obituary will appear on Thursday.
