Eric J. Beres Sr.

Eric J. Beres Sr., 51, of Monongahela, died July 21, 2017 at Mon Valley Hospital.

He was born in New Eagle on April 26, 1966, the son of the late Thomas and Patricia (Campbell) Beres. Eric loved to garden, landscape, collecting shells from the shore, and his job. He was a 20 plus year kids coach at the YMCA. He enjoyed the children and all of the sports they played. Eric worked for Ernst & Young as a records manager.

He is survived by two sons; Eric Beres Jr. fiance Ashley Williams of Charleroi, Jared Beres of Monongahela, granddaughter Nikita Beres, two brothers; Kirk (Ann) Beres, Mark (Tina) Beres, both of Florida, ex-wife & friend; Patricia Beres, companion; Tammi Shahan, newphew; Skylar Beres, Niece; Cheyenne Soto.

Addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Kathleen Beres.

Friends will be received in Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 825 Fallowfield Ave. Charleroi, on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 5 to 8 pm. Family and friends will gather Thursday July 27, 2017 at 10:00 am for a blessing service in the funeral home, with Pastor Kirk Voller officiating. Interment will be private.
