Ella Marie LaTour

Ella Marie LaTour, 90, of Roscoe, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in Roscoe on April 7,1935. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph A. and Margaret (Crow) Schmid, her brother and sister-in-law, Alois ("Lou") Schmid and Lois (Gibson) Schmid.

Ella Marie was a member of Roscoe Methodist Church. She was retired from PNC in Charleroi where she worked as a teller for many years.

Ella Marie was a lover of Boston Terriers and had many in her lifetime. She enjoyed trips to Disney World and taking cruises. Her favorite cruise was to Alaska. Ella Marie was sweet, kind, and generous to all those she loved. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Frank LaTour Jr., a nephew Mark A. (Donna) Schmid of Roscoe, 2 great-nieces; Laura (Josh) Howle of Florence, S.C., and Carla (Greg) Kent of Allenport,4 great-great-nieces and nephews; Elizabeth, Gabriella, Christian, and Alexander Kent, and her dog, Suzie.

At Ella Marie’s request, there will be no public visitation. Interment will be at Monongahela Cemetery
