Edward J. Deneen

Edward J. Deneen, 46, of Monongahela, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 24, 2012. A son of the late Zane and Joan Horan Deneen, he was born Nov. 26, 1965, in Sumter, SC. Ed was a Protestant by faith and enjoyed spending time on Facebook. He is survived by two sisters and two brothers; Susan Moncini and husband, Arthur, of Belle Vernon, Denise "Dee Dee" Muzina, and husband, Roger, of Fayette City, Zane Deneen and wife, Charlene, of Schertz, TX, and George Deneen and companion, Joyce, of Greensburg; seven nieces and nephews, Laura Moncini and fiancAC., Joe Rotolo, Ryan Moncini and wife, Shannon, Jonathan Muzina and wife, Dawn, Jeremy Sellew and wife, Jill, Roger Zane Muzina, Kyra Weaver and husband, Rick, and Joseph Deneen; an uncle, Thomas Horan; and four aunts, Sarah Hrycko, Colleen Luko, Kate Uchrinscko and Eva Mae Merrill. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 1008 Furlong Avenue, Roscoe. There will be no public visitation and a memorial service for Ed will be held on Saturday, May 26, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the funeral home.
