Edward D. Dera 68 of Charleroi passed away on Saturday March 16, 2024 at Penn Highlands Connellsville. Born in North Charleroi on March 4, 1956, a son of Ruth Good Dera of Charleroi and the late Edward S. Dera.
Edward attended California State College and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh where he received his Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering. He was a devout Christian. Edward enjoyed hunting and gardening. He loved sharing an abundance of his fresh garlic and asparagus with family and friends.
Besides his mother, Edward is survived by his 2 brothers;Thomas E. (Sharon) Dera of San Antonio, TX, and John M. (Lannie) Dera of Lake Havasu City, AZ, a sister Rebecca L. Pashley of Kinsman, OH, 5 nieces and nephews; Nathan Dera, Justin Dera, Rachael Kerchofer, Bethany Scott and Kate Fantone and 16 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation and services will be private. Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
