Dorothy Hela

Dorothy Hela 63 of Stockdale died Friday November 7, 2014 at UPMC Montifore. Born December 17, 1950 a daughter of Betty Hilton. Mrs. Hela was an Avon Rep for 40yrs. She was a member of St, Joseph's R.C. Church where she was the former housekeeper and cook for the rectory. Also a member of the Roscoe Sportsmen's Club. Surviving are her husband Michael Hela, a daughter Leisa and husband John Barth of Somerset, 2 sons Michael Wray Hela and wife Kristin of Beaver and Jason Edward Hela of Stockdale, 5 grandsons, Brad Hela, Patrick Hela, John Barth III, Matthew Hela and Evan Hela and 2 nieces Tina Theys of Belle Vernon and Kim Gustafson of Ohio. Preceded in death by a brother and sister, Wray Fox and Betty Gioffre. Visitation will be held on Monday November 10 from 6-8pm and Tuesday November 11 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave. Roscoe. Translation prayers will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday November 12 at 10:00am follow by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Roscoe with Rev. Michael Zavage officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Long Branch.
