Craig Alan Stephenson

Craig Alan Stephenson 77 of Charleroi passed away on Wednesday May 22, 2024 at his home. Born in Charleroi on July 27, 1946, a son of James and Dolores Anderson Stephenson. 

Craig worked as a salvage diver for several companies during his life. He was a Vietnam War veteran having served in the U.S Marine Corps.  

Craig had the opportunity of growing up for many years in Japan which led to his great interest in the Asian culture. He was a member of the Roscoe American Legion Post #801. He loved art work, reading and was a movie buff, and would be more then willing to share his story of how he met Susan Sarandon while she was attending college and starting in the movie industry.

He is survived by a niece Melissa Tillman of Charleroi and 4 cousins; Cheryl Cera of Valencia, PA, Deborah Irwin of Latrobe, Jamie Brown of Bristolville, Ohio, and Pricilla Ryland of Miami Beach, Florida.

Visitation will be held on Saturday May 25, 2024 from 6-8pm at the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi.
