Colleen Gatalica

Colleen Gatalica, 70, of Allenport, peacefully passed away Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008. She was born April 24, 1938, in Allenport, a daughter of the late Albert Henry and Evelyn Ardyth (Hartford) Black. Mrs. Gatalica was Methodist by faith. She was a member of the Allenport Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, belonged to several card clubs and also was a representative for Home Interiors. She is survived by her husband, George Gatalica; three children, George K. Gatalica, of Monongahela, Kimberly Jo Lundy, of Allenport, and Joellynn Reed, of West Newton; six grandchildren, Jason Albert Lundy, Kayla Brooke Gatalica, Rachel Lauren Gatalica, Braya Danay Lundy, Axel Elijah Reed, and Lexa Rae Reed. Friends will be received Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the ED MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES INC., Roscoe (724-938-9323), where services will be held Monday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Randy Landerman of Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
