Cheryl Ann Groves

Cheryl Ann Groves, 57, of Myrtle Beach, formerly of Charleroi, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011. A daughter of Bill and Betty Maxon, of Roscoe, she was born Dec. 18, 1954, in Charleroi. Cheryl was a graduate of California Area High School, Class of 1973, and was Presbyterian by faith. She was a member of the American Legion Post 801 Auxiliary in Roscoe, the Italian Club and Belgian Club in Charleroi and the Ravens Club in Monessen. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Darrell; a son, William Lane, of Charleroi; a daughter, Amy Lane, of Charleroi; a stepdaughter, Paula Pivarnik and husband, Jacob, of Monessen; grandchildren, Jordan Lane, Ryan and Morgan Groves, and Jacob Pivarnik; her sisters, Cindy Gedda, Of California, Pa., and Brenda Misenko and husband, Joseph, of Brownsville; niece, Ashley Gedda; and great-niece, Kyleigh Good. At Cheryl's request there will be no visitation and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
