Charles Gilbert Herron

Charles Gilbert Herron 90 of California, PA died Wednesday May 8, 2019 at his home. Born in Long Branch on December 27, 1928 a son of Charles and Violet Herron. Mr. Herron was a retired bus driver for the Monessen School District. He served in the United States Armed Forces during the Korean War.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Kevin R. and Lynne Herron of Daisytown, 2 grandchildren; Douglas and Allison Herron of California, PA, and Jayme and Kevin McCauley of Spraggs, and a sister Wilma Gibson of Speers. He is preceded in death by his wife Josephine Vautrain Herron who died December 6, 2002, a brother Kenneth Herron and a sister Naoma Ackenclose. There will no public visitation.
