Cecelia A. Seftas

Cecelia (Allan) Seftas, 84, formerly of Roscoe and Elco, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 11, 2011, in Dunlevy Gardens Personal Care Community. A daughter of the late Thomas and Hazel Smith Allan, she was born October 10, 1926, in Roscoe. Mrs. Seftas was a member of the Roscoe Presbyterian Church, the Janet Ray Circle, and American Legion Post 801 Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughter, Starr Cole of Madison, Pa; a son, Randy Seftas and wife, Natalie, of Davidsonville, MD; and 3 grandchildren, Chad Cole, Amber Myers and husband, Matthew, and Alexander Seftas. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George; a daughter, Cheryl Ann Seftas; a brother, John (Jack) Allan; and a sister, Hazel Pehnec. Friends will be received Thursday, July 14, from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, in the Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 1008 Furlong Avenue, Roscoe. Interment will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Fayette City.
