Sincere sympathy to Betty's Family. I worked with Betty at First National Bank, Charleroi in the 1960s. She was a lovely person.

Betty was my Sunday school teacher when I was a kid. I saw her at church quite a few years ago and reminded her that every time I said the Apostles Creed, I thought of her because I learned it in her class. Her eyes filled with tears and we hugged. She was a lovely lady.

Betty was a beautiful soul. She was a gifted pianist, organist, and violinist, and so strong, independent, and hardworking. A no-nonsense kind of woman of great character, a woman I admired. I'm so grateful I got to know her and that my family and I got to see her in church on our last visit to PA. I'll miss our annual Christmas letter exchange - receiving a handwritten letter from her was such a gift to me. She was so encouraging, such a cheerleader for my kids, and I'm so sad to hear of her passing. Rest in glorious peace, Betty. I'll miss you.
