Bettie Ruth Marucci

Bettie R. Marucci 91 of Charleroi passed away on Tuesday June 18, 2024 at The Residence at Hilltop. Born in Johnstown on November 16, 1932, she was the daughter of John and Helen Tilley Mishler.

Bettie was retired from Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana where she was the director of Human Resources. She was a former member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in Ft. Wayne and a member of Middle Creek Church of the Bretheren in Rockwood.

Surviving are 3 sons; Lee (Julie) Marucci of West Chester, OH, Keith Marucci of Charleroi and Rob Marucci of Ft. Wayne, IN, 7 grandchildren; Casandra Woodmansee, Heather Heap, Kyle Marucci, Derek Marucci, Morgan Marucci, Nicholas and Cole Marucci, 7 great-grandchildren and a sister Kate Cavanaugh of Speers.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert B. Marucci in 1985, daughter-in-law Tracey I. Marucci, 4 brothers; Wilber, Tom, John and Charles Mishler and 2 sisters; Violet Gilliland and Leona Ruby.

Visitation will be held on Thursday June 20, 2024 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Additional visitation will be held on Friday June 21, 2024 from 5-7pm at Fairhaven Funeral Homes and Cremation Service 6557 N. Clinton St. Ft. Wayne, IN. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Saturday June 22 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish Ft. Wayne. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery.
