Alvin Luther Hess 98 of Roscoe, died Sunday July 20, 2014 at Justine's Personal Care Home, Allenport. Born February 4, 1916 in Roscoe a son of Henry and Wilamenia Young Hess. Mr. Hess was a member of the Nazarene Church California, and was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Railroad. A WWII Army veteran. Mr. Hess is survived by a niece Shirley Mitchell of Roscoe and a several great nieces and nephews. Mr. Hess was preceded in death by his wife Edytna Hess. There will be no visitation for Mr. Hess. A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 24, 2014 at 6pm at the California Nazarene Church.
