Janet Cox

Janet E. Cox 60 of Elco passed away on Tuesday March 30, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Born in N. Charleroi on July 2, 1960, a daughter of the late Elijah T. and Margaret Bell Gauden Jr..

Janet was a member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church. She was a caregiver to many. Janet enjoyed baking, playing cards and family traditions. She is survived by 4 sisters; Debra Palfrey of Elkton, Md, Bonnie Hotz of Brick, NJ, Bridget Gauden of Roscoe and Denise (Jerry) Fink of South Park, 3 brothers; Samuel Gauden of Cleveland, OH, Gary Gauden of Roscoe and her twin brother James Gauden of Roscoe. Numerous nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews and she was a 3rd mom to Katie and Ken.

Besides her parents, Janet was also preceded in death by her husband Wayne A. Cox, a sister Wanda L. McGarry and a nephew Steven J. Hotz. A private visitation was held on Thursday April 1st.  Private funeral services were held on Friday April 2nd followed by interment at Howe Cemetery Long Branch.
