Obituary

Alice M. Ritenour 93 of Uniontown and formerly of Allenport, died Sunday October 6, 2019 at home. Born in Pittsburgh on April 16, 1926 a daughter of the late John and Margaret Hill.

Alice was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #801 Roscoe.

Surviving are 3 sons Ronnie Ritenour of Uniontown, John (Cathy Parrett) Ritenour of Smithfield and Walter (Teressa) Ritenour of Allenport, 2 daughters Alice Glawinski of Perryopolis and Connie (Ron) Santo of Point Marion, a sister Margaret Ann Woods of Ohio, 26 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Kensey Ritenour in 1993, 2 sons; Keith and Kensey Ritenour and Charlotte Shrum, 3 grandchildren Tracy and Robyn Ritenour and Caroline Santo, one great grandchild Ronnie Povrzenich, 4 brothers Sonny, Lee, Walter and Bill Hill and 2 sisters; June Smith and Dorothy Hill.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 9, 2019 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe where funeral services will be held on Thursday October 10, 2019 at 11:00am with Rev. Candace Cook. Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Carroll Twp. The family asks that memorial donations may be made to the funeral home.
